PATRONS AND SEASON TICKET HOLDERS 

This year 2011, the Stratford upon Avon Choral Society celebrated its 175th Anniversary, an important milestone in the Society’s long and distinguished history. Formed one year before Queen Victoria came to the throne, the Society has always retained a keen interest in its past and its history has influenced and defined the Choral Society of today.

The dedicated work of generations of conductors, singers, committees and patrons and subscribers has given us the opportunity to exercise our duty of care, as stewards in the Society's present and future. We must ensure that we thrive and maintain our strong musical tradition. 

Over the years we have brought the world's greatest choral works to audiences in Stratford-upon-Avon, as well as in the 1990s to those in the Netherlands, Bavaria, Austria, Loire Valley in France and to Venice in Italy.

INVITATION TO BECOME A PATRON OR SEASON TICKET HOLDER

We will be pleased to welcome you as a valued supporter of Stratford-upon-Avon Choral Society to our concerts and to social and fundraising events. You may make new friends and, if you wish, help at a practical level to enhance the enjoyment of others. 

Ticket sales alone cannot sustain the Society’s high standard of musical excellence. Only with the support of generous individuals can we meet the costs of musicians and singers and maintain our position as a leading Choral Society in the West Midlands. 


BECOMING A SEASON TICKET HOLDER -

Season Ticket Holders contribute £40 annually and will receive one ticket for each of the November, December and March concerts at a discount.  Seats are unreserved.

• Season Ticket Holders would be invited to the social gathering after concerts
• Invited to attend the annual AGM in June and have the right to vote on Choral Society issues.
• Be invited to all Choral Society social events, the Society’s Annual Dinner etc, or other events periodically arranged.


BECOMING A PATRON

A Patron contributes from £60 annually (£120 for Double Patrons) and will receive one ticket and a reserved seat for each of the November, December and March concerts. They may also reserve seats in addition.

Benefits include:-
• Patrons are invited to the social gathering after concerts
• Invited to attend the annual AGM in June and have the right to vote on Choral Society issues.
• Be invited to all Choral Society social events, including visits to CBSO, the Society’s Annual Dinner etc, or other events periodically arranged.
• Reserved seats in the Concert venue at each Choral Society concert, up to 10 minutes before each performance.
• Have your name in each programme listed as a Patron.
